The piece
Face A has a charcoal cotton velveteen body and black raglan sleeves. An antique gold shishi guardian lion and peony flowers spread across the back, while a small gold peony sits on each front chest. The black and gold ribbed collar, cuffs, and hem frame both faces.
Turn the jacket to Face B for a plain black rayon satin body and charcoal sleeves. A single small gold peony appears at the wearer’s left chest; the reverse back is plain. A reversible front zipper and two welt pockets on each side serve both faces. All embroidery is machine embroidered on Tajima machines using polyester thread.
