Return window
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for any standard Sukaizen jacket that has not been worn or damaged. The window starts on the day the carrier marks your package as delivered, not the day you ordered.
What can be returned
To qualify for a return, the jacket must be:
- Unworn (no signs of wear, body oils, perfume, smoke, or pet hair)
- Unwashed (do not wash before returning — even hand wash)
- In original condition with all tags still attached
- In its original packaging where possible
- Returned within 30 days of the delivery date
What cannot be returned
- Custom commissions and personalised pieces — designed specifically for you, so they cannot be resold to another customer.
- Final-sale and special-edition items marked as such on the product page at time of purchase.
- Jackets that have been worn, washed, or altered.
- Items returned after 30 days from delivery, except in cases of manufacturing defect (see below).
Faulty or damaged items are always covered, regardless of whether the standard return window applies — see Damaged or defective below.
How to return
- Email support@sukaizen.com with your order number and the reason for the return. Photographs help us improve the product, but are not required for size-related returns.
- We reply within one business day with a return shipping address and any specific instructions for your region.
- Pack the jacket carefully — original packaging is best. Use a tracked shipping method; we are not responsible for items lost in return transit.
- Email us the tracking number once dispatched.
- Once we receive and inspect the return, we issue your refund.
Return shipping cost: for standard returns, the customer covers return postage. For damaged or incorrect items, we cover return postage in full.
Refund timing
Refunds are processed within 2–3 business days of receiving the return and inspecting it. Funds typically appear in your account 5–10 business days after we issue the refund, depending on your card issuer or bank.
Refunds go to the original payment method. We cannot redirect refunds to a different card or bank account.
Exchanges
For size exchanges, email us as early as possible — we will reserve your preferred size while your return is in transit, subject to stock availability. Exchange processing follows the same return inspection step before the new jacket ships.
For style exchanges (different motif), the simplest path is usually to return the original and place a new order for the replacement. This avoids stock holds and gets your replacement to you faster.
Damaged or defective items
If your jacket arrives damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect:
- Email us within 7 days of delivery (transit damage) or within 30 days (manufacturing defect noticed in normal wear).
- Include clear photos showing the damage and your order number.
- We will arrange a free replacement, full refund, or store credit — whichever you prefer. We cover all shipping costs in this scenario.
International returns
International customers can return under the same terms. A few specifics:
- Return shipping cost is the customer's responsibility on standard returns; we cover it on damaged or incorrect items.
- Mark the customs declaration as “Returned merchandise” with the original order value to avoid double customs duty.
- Original duties paid on the inbound shipment are not refundable by Sukaizen — they must be reclaimed from your country's customs authority. We are happy to provide documentation supporting your claim.
- We recommend a trackable, insured return service for international parcels.
